
With more than two decades of experience as a researcher and senior executive – Karman has depth of experience in sectors ranging from financial services, transportation, food, and government, to agriculture and biotechnology. She has completed research studies for clients such as Monsanto, Bayer, Viterra, and Dow AgroSciences.
As Senior Vice-President at Ipsos-Reid, and Managing Director of their Agri-Foods research division, Karman oversaw projects for some of the world’s largest agricultural corporations. She carried out proprietary studies using the most advanced modeling and research science available and also led their syndicated studies division.
Previous to her roles at Ipsos-Reid, Karman carried out dozens of research studies at United Grain Growers (UGG) and led the redesign of the corporation’s business processes. Preceding UGG, she carried out financial analysis and coordinated business planning at CP Rail. Karman studied at both Oregon State University and the University of Manitoba, where she received her Masters degree in Agricultural Economics.
